How to Start Playing

Download and run the installer
Get the installer from the download button above and run it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

Launch the app

After installation completes, double-click the Mori Player icon on your desktop to launch it.
Register your video site URL

On the "Add New Site" screen that appears at first launch, enter the URL of the site where you purchased your videos and click "Register".
Log in and authenticate with the site
1. Clicking the "Login" button in the app will open your browser.
2. Log in to the sales site in your browser.
3. After logging in, when a popup appears saying "Open Mori Player", click "Open".
4. Your login information is transferred to the app and authentication is complete.
Download and play your video
1. Open the page of your purchased video and click "Download".
2. Open the downloaded video using one of these methods:
  - Double-click the file
  - Drag and drop the file onto the app
  - Select it from the app's "Open File" menu
If you can't find the file, check your computer's "Downloads" folder.

Operational issues (stuttering, freezing, crashes, audio sync issues, etc.) resulting from the following environments or conditions are not subject to investigation or support:

Direct playback from external storage: Direct playback from USB drives, external HDDs/SSDs, SD cards, NAS, or cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) is not supported. Always copy files to your computer's internal drive before playback.
Simultaneous operation with other applications: Running resource-heavy programs like video editing software, PC games, cryptocurrency mining software, or browsers with many tabs simultaneously may cause playback issues.
Virtual environment operation: Operation on virtual machines (Parallels Desktop, VMware, VirtualBox, etc.) or emulators (Windows Subsystem for Android/Linux, etc.) is not guaranteed.
Interference from security software: Antivirus software or firewall monitoring settings may cause file loading delays and playback issues.

A downloaded video needs no internet connection while it plays. Authentication is required at regular intervals, though, so please connect from time to time. If you stay offline for a long stretch, playback may stop working.

Can I use it on a smartphone or tablet?

Where can I find the site URL to enter during initial registration?

How do I remove a video site I registered?

Open the Mori Player home screen or the site switching screen.
Open the "Registered Sites" list from the gear icon at the bottom right.
Click the "Remove (−)" button next to the site you want to delete.
Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen to complete the removal.
